Introduction by Julian Assange
"We believe there is no democracy where there are archives full of unspeakable truths"
Stefania Maurizi's articles and investigative works about Julian Assange, his organisation and the WikiLeaks' databases.
Stefania started keeping a close eye on Julian Assange's revolution at the end of 2008. In August 2009 WikiLeaks gave her an audio file about the alleged role of the Italian intelligence services in the garbage scandal in Naples, which she published in l'Espresso. Since then, she worked on many releases with WikiLeaks, like the Afghan War Logs, the Cablegate and the Gitmo Files.

Those journalists who investigate and advocate government transparency must abide by the very same transparency rules.
NEPOTISM
Stefania comes from a working class family: indeed a world which has nothing to do with journalism. After gaining a degree in mathematics, she got a Master degree at Imperial College London thanks to a bank loan.
CONFLICT OF INTERESTS
As a journalist, Stefania never ever accepted presents or consultancy work from companies and organisations. Working for the Italian newsmagazine l'Espresso and writing books are her only sources of income.
